Poured from 440mL can into my Belvárosi sörfesztivál tulip. Best by 5/1/25.
Appearance: pale darkish orange-golden hue with a light-to-moderate haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam, which leaves a nice lace on the glass as it dissipates.
Smell: lightly toasty malt with a hop aroma that is mostly herbal and grassy. Not too bad, but definitely not the "citrusy twist" I expected.
Taste: moderately sweet with a bit of creamy yeastiness and definitely with a citrus character coming through that was not nearly so present as in the aroma. It's not juicy or overpowering; it just adds a subtle citrus character to the otherwise herbal hop notes. Not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a good creaminess for a relatively light beer.
Overall: I am digging this beer! The aroma doesn't sell it well enough, in my opinion, but this is a solid citrus lager.
