From the growler purchased on "kick the keg" pricing at the Apple House, it pours a hazy yellow color with a modest, though long lasting, white head. In the nose, Belgian spices, in the mouth, it reminds me of a Belgian white! Nice beer!

On tap at brewery:
Near clear straw-leaning golden beverage with a big white initial head. This lasts in a slimmed-down form for most of the drink. Some lacing on the plastic glass.
Nose of cloves, hay, juniper on a warmer beer - the Belgian yeast banana has a presence earlier in the beer. Little black pepper sneaks in as well.
Taste follows the nose fairly well - a spicy Belgian ale w/a slightly sweet opening and drier finish. In between there is a significant spice bite with a little orchard fruit in the mix.
This thing borders on being more of a saison than a straight wit, but I enjoyed it. The spices were probably a little strong (definitely not subtle), but I liked the bite.
