L: Hazy gold, murky, 3 finger meringue like head, persistent foam, lots of sticky lace.
S: Strong nose, Citrus forward, grapefruit, pineapple, flour malt.
T: Same as nose but tropical over citrus.
F: Medium weight body, soft with a crisp finishing bite.

From the bottom of the can: "21141 13102:57 CHANGE UP"
Appearance: As soon as the can is opened it started foaming out of the can. It takes some careful pouring in this beer because it appears to be heavily carbonated based on the massive head that forms even when slowly pouring. The body is a slightly hazy gold color that allows dulled shadows through. The head is white and fluffy which is nice but also excessively oversized. It has excellent head retention and pretty good lacing which is camouflage in appearance.
Aroma: There are subtle notes of wildflowers and spicy herbs. It smells a bit like white pepper. There is a bit of a barnyard aroma to the beer as well. It is certainly interesting. The strongest scent is wildflower which has this summertime pollen character. It is a bit of a mixed bag but enjoyable.
Taste: Up front there are notes of toffee and toasted caramel. Towards the middle of the palate there are some slightly herbal and forest notes but it's like a watered down bay leaf and a touch of cedar. Caramel and a touch of toffee comes in near the end and in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: It is medium bodied and smooth but very carbonated. Medium-low bitterness.
Overall: As a whole the beer feels a bit tossed together. It has a nice toffee and caramel character but that typically isn't what people are looking for in an IPA. The hop characters seem awkward in this beer. It's not one I would recommend or drink again. It's drinkable but scatterbrained and the main focus seems to be in the malt flavor.

Feel my rating could go higher, nice mix of malt and hops, fruit and bitterness. Hopefully this is the path of their hoppy beers.
