16oz can poured into a SA glass
A- pours a clear amber color with a one-finger creamy white head that has great retention
S- smells of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove & allspice with some malty undertones that adds caramel, toffee and even banana bread
T- pumpkin spice notes lead the flavor with cinnamon, allspice and clove popping through. Mid-palate is slightly sweet and malty, with notes of caramel, fruitcake & brown sugar. The finish gives plenty of cinnamon with a cola-like linger
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into a velvety finish

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass on 8/19/2023. There is a stamp on the bottom with the date 7/19/2023, and the quote "Spooky Scary". I drank this about 1 week after purchase in a supermarket in Herndon, VA.
Appearance: Amber/orange. Hazy like a NEIPA.
Smell: Pleasant, with a spicy aroma. Strong pumpkins aromas dominate. Some caramel aroma to a lesser extent.
Taste: Very nice and a unique taste. I can definitely taste the pumpkin, and there are some spicy flavors, which makes for a unique taste. I like this better than most other pumpkin ales I have tried.
This is an interesting seasonal beer by 2 Silos. I like it more than most other pumpkin ales and almost as much as my favorite pumpkin ale from Weyerbacher, which has a little more spice in the flavor. I will buy this again.
Update: The more I drink this and other Imperial Pumpkin ales, the more I like this, the Southern Tier, Maple Mistress from Saucony, and the Weyerbacher offerings. I have tried pumpkin ales, imperial pumpkin ales, and barrel-aged pumpkin ales. This is more flavorful than others, but is slightly lower in alcohol, especially compared to the barrel-aged pumpkin ales. Overall, I prefer this to most of the others I have tried. I like that it is seasonal, and will look for it next year.

From a bottle into a draught glass. Pour had a persistent head of 1/4" off-kahki with an opaque rustic pumpkin color with a decent amount of particulate. Scent has an excellent blend of sweeter notes of brown sugar, pumpkin, and spice (cinnamon seems most evident). Taste is fantastic with an excellent blend of pumpkin, brown sugar/molasses notes, and tasteful quantities of spice. Feel is on the medium side but lacks a bit of heft that often accompanies similar pumpkin ales. Overall a great fall offering where the taste really shines through.

A: a red amber in color with a light tan head that audibly dissipates.
S: light pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla.
T: sweet vanilla, and nutmeg with hints of pumpkin, and bread.
M: medium thick, moderate carbonation.
O: overall, it's a pumpkin beer, tasty, seasonal, but not amazing.

What a great (local) surprise! Pleasantly pleased. Smells of brown sugar, spice, and light pumpkin. A solid pumpkin taste (not pie or overwhelming), brown sugar and light spice. Frothy and smoother than most. Easy to drink. Fall and pumpkin in a glass. Well done!

Poured gently from a tall can into a snifter glass, forming a couple fingers of frothy light tan head. Hazy dark orange color, with a bit of lacing after the head faded. Smell is slightly sweet pumpkin and some spices. Taste follows, with a good pumpkin flavor and balanced spices, with a little bit of sweetness. Not quite medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Impressive pumpkin ale from a local brewery, definitely on my must have list for next year, glad I committed to a 4 pack.

On tap at brewery:
A clear medium copper, there’s a surprising amount of froth that has accumulated atop the plastic cup’s contents from a headless “boss pour”. The plastic held a few spots of that head, but not much.
Nose was nicely earthy with spices evident but not overpowering. I also get a near bakers chocolate note from somewhere. Eventually it comes to me as a crusty pumpkin bread.
Taste is that of a spicy amber ale. There’s a sweetness from the residual malt sugars, and earthy bitterness coupled with earthy-leaning pumpkin spices.
This beer is a subtle spiced pumpkin beer. The spices didn’t take control of the beer and I didn’t get the tang of pumpkin, But there seems to be enough of both to qualify for the style. The fact that it has a solid, balanced amber ale base works for me as well.
