Taster at brewery. Hazy golden pour, thin, fine head. Light citrusy aroma. Taste is grapefruit with some pale malts for balance. Pretty smooth overall.

The can states that this is "1 PINT" and it says "BEST ENJOYED FRESH!" It was stored in a refrigerator when purchased but there is no indication of a date on the can.
Appearance: The body is a deep orange color that is a bit on the dark side. It is nearly opaque but very faint indistinguishable shadows are visible through the glass when the hand moves on the other side. It has a large fluffy head which has a tobacco stained off-white color with just a light bit of yellowing. It has very good head retention and it leaves nice lacing on the glass. The highlight of the appearance is the head.
Aroma: It has a light floral aroma with a bit of what smells like lime zest. It has a fairly pleasant aroma but it is very faint.
Taste: It has a bit of caramel flavor up front with moderate floral notes. A light soapy, bitter, floral character towards the middle of the mouth. The beer has a bitter finish with more of that floral character.
Mouthfeel: Hop bitterness for this beer is somewhat towards the high end which is good. It has a body which feels soft and rests on the lower edge of medium. Although the bitterness is good it clashes with the rest of the beer, especially the light floral flavor, and it makes the whole thing a slow drinking experience.
Overall: The can states that this is an "AMERICAN INDIA PALE ALE WITH TANGERINE" and that it is "6.9% ALC / VOL." The alcohol content doesn't show itself and the bitterness it high which are good. The beer has a bit of a citrus zest aroma but it comes across as lime instead of tangerine. As a whole the beer is mostly floral which comes across as a bit soap-like which might turn people off. The floral hop notes are still kind-of nice if you don't mind that character. I probably wouldn't buy another 4-pack but it's alright enough that I won't mind finishing what I have. As a whole I wouldn't recommend it, especially because it doesn't have much citrus character.

Nice orangish hue. Medium carbonation, large head that lasts. Citra and mosaic hops. Super juicy and sweet. Not so much citrus as the name suggests...but if you’ve ever traveled to a tropical country and eaten a “custard apple”...it’s exactly what it smells and tastes like...sweet, deliciously juicy. Not overly hoppy and the 6.9% ABV is not apparent but sneaks up on you over time. Overall, quite a refreshing and original brew...can’t say I’ve tasted anything similar to it among juicy IPAs.
