Dry Irish Stout

From a can. Pour had a robust, aggressive tan head of foam that surged up and over the glass (some of that is on me :)). Color is pitch black and a lacy tan foam head is left after several minutes. Scent is rich and malty, with roasted notes and darker coffee -- almost reminds me of a charcol porter I had in the fall. Taste matches, with the roasted bitterness coming across strongly and the coffee bitterness being evident on the aftertaste. Feel is medium-bodied, with the bitterness cutting just enough to slow the drinking (in a good way). Enjoyable!
