Well BeerNV is no more but here is a beer I think I had either there or at the source.
Pours yellow and makes a thin white head. Slight haze to it. The smell is that of a pretty pungent yet familiar and classic saison yeast: banana and clove all day for little pay.
Taste was much the same as the nose. Its a saison that is primarily pushed aroma/flavor wise by the yeast. I tend to prefer saisons that are more about hay, grain and light barnyard feels moreso than banana and clove. But I have no problem that they went with that more classical take on the style and yeast within. The mouthfeel is fine, has the same levity you've come to get used to in a saison. Carbonation just fine for style too. Its not really for me, but if you want your saison to have that hefeweizen/saison like push of clove and banana, this is your jam.
Hop rate stayed indiscernable to style as well. And I wonder, still I wonder, who'll stop the rain. This is the first review of this beer I added to this Next Glass owned database. Respect Next Glass!
