The ABV for this beer is 6.5%. Having this on-tap at the brewery. Served in a standard pint glass, this beer draws a pretty clear, medium golden color with a nice white head that’s about 2/3 of an inch thick when first drawn and served. Settles eventually to a thick white ring lining the inside of the glass. Not much lacing though. Aromas of some bready malts and rye along with a slight herbal grassiness along with a slightly funky yeastiness. The taste is pretty much the same, with bready malts and rye that gives way to some slightly funky yeastiness along with herbal, grassy, slightly piney, citrusy hops. A bit too much hop bitterness for this style than what is usual for it and for my tastes. Has a crisp, yet smooth, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and slightly dry aftertaste. An interesting take on this style.
