Brewed with the West Coast in mind, this Extra Pale Ale is loaded with Citra Hops that come at you from all angles not dissimilar from the delicious Quadrophonic sounds from your favourite 8 Track cartridge in the HIFI! With a citrus punch up front followed by a smooth laidback finish, check your equalizer because this is not a mono beer; 8 Track XPA is full stereo!

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From their IPA 6-pack boxset Vol. 2, at The Roundhouse Centre LCBO in nearby Windsor. Canned January 14/25. My fourth beer from the Chatham, Ontario brewery, and third for 2025. Heartily approved by Gracie the cat...

Pours a nearly clear golden color with a fluffy white head that provides significant lacing. The nose has a bit of citrus and some resiny pine, which is where the taste lands. The mouthfeel is medium and drying. Very nice beer I’m glad I got to try.

Pours a dense rather cloudy orange gold with an off white head and rich lacing. Aroma: piney with citrus and grassy herbal notes and stone fruit (nectarine). Characteristics continue into flavour. A complex full body - fine beer for hopheads.

Can: pours a cloudy gold color with puffy 2 finger white cap....Aromas of grapefruit and grains, light mustiness....flavor is well balanced between chewy malts and piney hopping in front....goes to a dry bitter finish with no after taste...decent enough IPA but was expecting more intense flavor from an unfiltered ale

Rich orange gold colour, just very slightly cloudy. Good sized head that lingers awhile before surrendering lace prettymuch right to the bottom of the glass. A little thick or juicy on the nose and to taste. Grapefruit hops, not heavy handed. A little sweet up front, juicy grspefruit up the middle, a little lingering bitterness. Pretty full mouthfeel. Fairly decent overall, but common.

Look is fantastic; thoroughly uniformly hazy straw/gold with some sediment pouring from the end of the can & moderately active head which leads to some decent lacing. Aroma is equally enticing; tons of citra with some other tropical scents layered with floral & grassy aromas - had hints of CA#5. Taste was ... still good, but not what the look and aroma had led me to covet. Taste was not as full as the aroma and mouthfeel was slightly overcarbonated and crisp while I was looking for something smooth and full. Still, I would enjoy this again.

Great to see Sons of Kent getting out there and expanding more!

The look of the beer can make peoples mouths water! It's a clear rich golden colour that pours beautifully from the taps at the brewery. It is just as good from the can as well, but nothing can beat getting from the keg!
The smell of the beer can trick you into thinking thats it's not as high percentage as it is! I know for a fact that this beer will hit you if you drink it too fast! And you won't notice by the floral leafy smell this beer produces.
The taste of the beer has a floral lemony taste that has a nice lingering bitterness at the end!
The feel of the beer I find is light, above average carbonation
Overall! I recommend this beer for people that really want to drink and have fun parties. I don't recommend having a bunch of them for social gathers you don't want to get drunk at.

If you guys are interested about the beer here is the website you can go and check out!
