On tap in a Petoskey restaurant, served in a snifter. Other beers I've had from these guys have been very good, but this was a bit of a disappointment. Pours a dull gold, no head, no lacing. On the nose, a little lemon, a little apple, and a little musty earthy garden, but all in all, a bit faint. Taste pretty much follows: each sip, I keep hoping that something will develop a bit more and bring a little more funk, or tartness, or fruit or yeast, or something, but it never really develops much. Body is middling, carbonation is moderate, mouthful has a touch of liveliness on the edges, but mainly just kind of meanders without coming to a point. Not bad, but nowhere near other beers I've had from the brewery.

Pours a gold color with virtually no head. Aroma of tart fruits and floral notes. Taste is quite tart and slightly sweet with no hoppy bitterness. Crisp and dry

1 PINT can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass
This beer pours pale yellow with a chill haze. It has a fleeting head.
Tart aroma. I get some lemon and stonefruit. As it warms I get some funk and hints of musty basement.
Tart flavor. Borderline sour. I get some green apple, hints of tart stonefruit. Mildly sour finish. A little funk
Medium bodied with a dry mouthfeel
This one might have improved with some patience and aging in the cellar on my part. If it was bottled I most certainly would have. I can't age a can. It was good but not quite sour enough for my palate. Definite potential though.
