The brewery calls this a West Coast Pilsner, but tasting it I agree it's more of a mildly hoppy American Lager. Pours a clear golden with ample foam in the Duvel nonic. Aroma of hay and biscuits. Light flavors of corn and a touch of lemon. Some green leafy taste in the finish. Light and sprightly on the tongue. Overall this is a very gulpable Lager with no particular distinction but it will serve well to mix with some over-hopped IPAs. From the 16 oz can four-pack purchased at the tasting room in Oceanside. No apparent date.
