From the can, pours cloudy yellow color with a decent sized foamy white head that faded in average time and left minimal spotty lacing. Smells mostly malty with lemon zest and then the coconut as it fades. Tastes like it smells, except the coconut is a little more pronounced and there are some citrus notes. Good enough to down a few with lunch and still be able to go back to the office and function.

A: The beer is yellow in color and has a faint amount of visible carbonation along with some fine particulates cloning to the edge of the glass. It poured with a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge fo the glass.
S: Light aromas of coconuts and pale malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of pale malts and coconuts with a light amount of sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't overly aromatic or flavorful, but the use of coconuts prevents it from being bland compared to other blonde ales.

My first beer from Hoboken Brewing. Poured from undated 12 oz. can into pint glass. It pours a clear light straw color with a thin, milk-white head that dissipated quickly leaving spotty lacing. Not much of a nose - mostly sweet malt with a whiff of coconut and some subtle wheat and perhaps corn. The taste was rather thin: wheat cracker with some watery coconut at mid-sip. Virtually no hop presence. It had a decent mouth feel for the style - pleasantly carbonated and easily drinkable at 5.5% ABV. Overall, there just isn't much in the way of smell or taste. It was a nice refresher on a warm summer evening but I switched to another beer as soon as I was done. Still, I support local brewers and will try other Hoboken Brewing offerings.
