An interesting beer. And an interesting brewery, not even three years old yet.

Indigo Looks different, a dense dark purple with a nice foam that quickly leaves barely a trace. Smells are mostly the tart that is coming. Tastes offer an attack of sweet, but it is quickly swept aside by the tart. Refreshing in the mouth, my mistake is that I'm having this in mid-October and it is designed to quench in mid-August. 8% ABV is pretty high for a BW, but it is well-concealed. Prost !

Ology is a youngster, so they haven't had a chance to earn really good OA Hugs. But my having to speculate based on their simple website, they are trying to get thru Covid and still satisfy palates in the capital of the battleground state of Florida. Interesting that they are the first brewery I know of to bottle their own hand sanitizer. They have two outlets for beer (a taproom and a brewhouse) and another address where they make vodka, the first to be released soon.

16oz can, no date

Pours out a deep dark red wine color, purple hued, no head. Smells slightly sour, like sour grapes. Very sweet with a tart finish - it tastes like a blueberry wine cooler.

Pretty, tasty, pretty tasty... but too expensive
