I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with thin off white ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had vanilla creme and coffee notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with vanilla and creme presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

On tap at MacGregor's Grill and Taproom in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a pretty dark brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like great roasty coffee, roasted malt, and some chocolate.
The aroma kind of tricked me here, as the taste falls a bit flat here. The coffee flavors starts out nice, but kind of flattens out on the back end, with tepid chocolate and very light roast. I expected a lot more out of this based on the aroma.
This is medium bodied, and pretty creamy, with a very thin finish.
This isn't that great. It's disappointing, as this brewery is usually solid.
