Pours a hazy, golden amber, peach coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smell is a little subdued, with only faint aromas of light biscuity malt and juicy'ish citrus/tropical notes coming through. Taste is a bit more interesting, with a decent balance of biscuity malt and juicy citrus/tropical hop notes of mango, papaya, orange and tangerine, as well as a light, grassy dankness. Finishes with a light bitterness and some citrus/tropical notes lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

While this totally lacks the style's signature soft, pillowy mouthfeel, like most German NEIPAs, it does have some nice, juicy and somewhat zesty tropical and citrus going for it, although there is also just a hint of soapiness to the flavor profile and the body/mouthfeel is a bit thin. After their Sir-Barks-A-Lot NEIPA, which was terrible, this was somewhat of a positive suprise, but still far from great and certainly not worth the premium price that Sudden Death seems to charge based on image alone.

Looks like hazy pineapple juice with a solid white head atop.

Smells of juicy limes and a blend of slightly sweeter tropical fruits, papaya and mango with a light floral presence.

Has a lower to medium carbonation with a lighter, slightly smooth body.

Tastes of lemony hops, their dryness being toned down by a diverse fruit sorbet presence. After this first impression, the flavors turn dull, with the hops not being able to evolve or even maintain on the palate, getting accompanied by moldy bread dough. Finishes with no hop dryness at all but a light, remaining fruitiness and an ongoing misplaced breadiness.

It is interesting to see that german breweries take an interest to dive into the ne-ipa beerstyle, while this beer simply lacks depth to fully convince.
