Copenhagen 12/5 2019. 33 cl bottle from Craft Beer Rockstars, Hüx Strasse, Lübeck. Mr. Bun hanging out with two dried Vanilla beans on the label. The description on the label sounds more like a pastry than a beer.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Very bubbly. Disappears completely after a minute. Leaving small puddle of foam.
Aroma is intense, sweet and candy-like. Caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, white sugar, licorice and light notes of marzipan. As the beer warms up a little bitter coffee peeking in. This dessert bonanza completely hides the substantial ABV.
Light carbonation. Thick, tough, sticky, creamy, fat texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet. Very light bitter touch. Aftertaste is sweet lingering. Light bitterness in the finish. No apparent sign of the ABV.
A sweet, dessert bonanza. Not my style - but well made.

Dark brown color, exaggerated foam and acidity.
Sour smell, with hints of cinnamon and dark chocolate.
Equally acidic taste, metallic, with espresso and burnt malt, some cinnamon. Very dry and bitter towards the end in the aftertaste. Vanilla doesn't really step out, the 10% alcohol either.
An unusual oat imperial stout, however interesting especially for those who prefer sour than sweet beers. The problem is that better and cheaper alternatives aren't hard to find.

Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has cinnamon but also some stinky cabbage notes. Taste is softer with cinnamon and apple pie spices, chocolate in the background but there is also a weird flavor on the aftertaste. Medium body with soft mouthfeel. Could be very good but it has some weird off-flavors.
