Copenhagen 12/11 2023. 444 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Yellow can with a crossover of a bearded Heavy metal mummy and Jason from Friday the 13th revealing his chest.
Pours opaque, golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with zesty, tart citrus fruit. Sweet peach and pineapple. Ripe. Grapefruit, lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly and gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more subtle bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Aftertaste is bittersweet - but with the bitterness winning out in the end. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and tart.
The nose is quite civilized - but zesty, tart flavor.
