Copenhagen 24/3 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Kiss-style hard rock font on the can bringing memories of the seventies. I am drinking the 2021 edition.
Pours opaque, hazy, slightly dirty pale yellow with a big, fluffy white head. Settles as thin patches of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a light, sweet fruity odor mingling with citric notes. Peach and papaya. Grapefruit, lemon. Pine needles.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, soft yet tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Quite intense for the style and quite sessional with a ABV of 3,5. And here I thought that Rock 'n Roll was all about getting immensely drunk.
