Copenhagen 10/5 2026. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Black can with ominous moths wearing Sudden Death's logo and the name om beer and brewery in green letters. Harrowing.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,2 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of over-ripe stone fruits mingling with sharp and citric notes. Mango, peach and alcohol. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Not exactly harrowing...
