Copenhagen 5/6 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Grey can with a crude drawing of Sudden Death's poster-boy with a half hockey mask squeezing full beer cans making a mess.
Pours opaque hazy slightly dirty golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet odor of ripe exotic fruit mingling with zesty citrus fruit. Sweet mango and pineapple. Sharp citrus and grapefruit. Sharp and dry.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, creamy, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry and a little bit searing.
A wholesome and intense cup of NEIPA.
