First in our German-style ale series, amber with hints of banana and cloves. A spicy collaboration with biscuit rye from Country Malt Group.

Look - kind of a nondescript yellow. Murky hazy.
Smell - marvelous. Banana, clove.
Taste - more of the same. Maybe a little lemon? Kind of sublime. Transcending beer.
Feel - this is the weird part. It is kind of thin but still full bodied all at the same time. Goes down quickly but not at all watery.
Overall - like all things Wooly Pig it is not a beer but an experience.

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white ring head that did not leave any lace. The scent had hints of banana and clove. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with banana and clove spice. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a great beer.

A tall and dense milk white foam head builds over a foggy orange-amber body settling to a thick creamy blanket clinging to the glass in a rip curl leaving moderate sheeting behind.

Ultra frothy soft and pillowy up front, that weizen yeast provides a mild clove and pear combo, but with a less prominent wheat character than your typical hefe. This gently glides to a softly semi-dry swallow, where it becomes a little peppery, while remaining overall semisweet with a touch of yellow corn.
