This Russian Imperial Stout spent 6 months aging in bourbon barrels. It's chocolatey roast is balanced by a rich caramel warmth. Be careful though, this one might send you to Mars and back!

Stark black with a tall, tan persistent nitro-like head leaving creamy mountain peak lacing on the glass.
An underlying roasty, smoky stout nears a nutty hickory character as a sharp bourbon heat with a peppery barrel char gives a surprisingly potent kick.
The soft slick medium body is thinned after the soft nitro-like carb dies off, finishing semi-wet.

Pours opaque black, pillowy dark tan head dissipates slowly.
Smells of rich cocoa, maple, molasses, mesquite, anise, oak, pecan, walnut, fig and bourbon.
Tastes very rich. Maple, brown sugar, cocoa, coffee, licorice, smokey toast, pecan and biscotti.
Full body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Excellent stout, loads of flavor and beautiful pour. Definitely worth trying. Wish they'd do this in a bottle, great cellar candidate.
