Our Belgian Golden Strong Ale is steeped in Ohio's own Watershed Distillery Bourbon aged Gin barrels for six months. This award-winning recipe features a marriage of fruit and spice, with notes of floral hops. The bright flavors of this Belgian are accented by the sweet herbal barrel-aged flavor.

Had on tap. Cloudy darker yellow body, full white head with tons of lacing. I get concerned when a belgian ale is barrel aged, let alone double barrel aged, but this is well done! Gin barrel brings out the floral, springy and citrus forward fruitiness of the underlying ale, bourbon adds more malt tones and pushes spiced oak forward. Nose does this more comprehensively than taste, plus it has a little touch of peach and tea added. Feel, despite being dba, is actually not that warm, rather the tripel gracefulness is one display.
