Stark black but with angry red edges under a short tan head that settles to a thin chain.
Casking is surprisingly forward in char and vanillin characteristics more so than booze, making for a stunning first impression. The base's pastry qualities actually take a back seat, but play well with ribbons of brown sugar and brulee. Quite impressive indeed.
The medium-light body has a slightly crackly carbonation that comes to a numbing, semi-dry and clean finish that exhales Reisen and Raisinets as it warms.
