Quite lucky to try this cask conditioned holdover from last night's Cleveland Winter Warmer fest, a muddier mahogany presents with nary a head due to all the coffee oils.
The added coffee takes over with a mocha decadence that makes for a guilty pleasure, to be sure, but also mutes a little of the barrel nuance that was beautiful in the regular version.
Undoubtedly a tasty beverage, especially when paired with brunch, but I actually did enjoy the regular version even more.
