Poured a black body with minimal tan head and spotty lace. Spicy aroma with notes of molasses and bacon. Smooth, medium-bodied beer that has a thickness to it as it warms and a meatiness that resembles a rauchbier; smokiness/meatiness compared to rauchbier is a lighter aspect than aforementioned german style of beer. Decent sweetness with a slightly dry finish and a touch of heat.
