L: Poured from a growler to a pint glass. Had a dark brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a thin, tan-colored, creamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Not much lacing, though.
S: A very good aroma of cherries, hazelnuts, malt, and a woody quality.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of malt (less than expected), some fleeting notes of wood (maybe just me), lots of tart cherries, and some hazelnuts as well. Sometimes beers advertise something and don't deliver; this isn't the case here. It has a strong cherry presence, something that works for it. Delicious.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A highly enjoyable porter. Definitely drinkable.
