No canned on date.

Hazy beige with decent head and lacing

Aroma is weak with some pineapple, peach, and grapefruit, all low.

Flavor likewise is underwhelming with mainly pineapple, peach, and herbal notes. Low bitterness.

Feel is okay but kind of flabby.

A very disappointing effort - not very confidence inducing for Precarious beers on my first try.

I don't see a date listed on the can or label sticker.
The can I have lists "8.0% ALC/VOL" and lists this as a "DOUBLE INDIA PALE ALE"

Appearance: The body is a light milky beige color that is opaque. It has a short white head with good retention and lacing.

Aroma: There is a mild aroma of pineapple and a slight scent of yeast. It smells a lot like the inside of a fermenter that has just recently been drained.

Taste: There is a definite yeast flavor to the beer. There is also a bit of pineapple skin and a hint of grapefruit peel. The latter are welcome but the former is off-putting.

Mouthfeel: Bitterness is low and the beer has a pleasant light body. It feels smooth and easy to drink, moving easily across the palate. The only things hampering the drinkability of the beer are the yeasty aroma and flavor.

Overall: Despite this being marked as a standard "DOUBLE INDIA PALE ALE" (as indicated on the label) this is clearly a New England Double IPA. It has the hallmark low bitterness and ease of drinkability, but it lacks refinement in the aroma and flavor departments, giving off yeasty characters that impact the beer negatively. As a whole the beer felt below average and I wouldn't recommend it or drink it again.
