On tap:
Straight golden body doesn’t hide the slow and random bubbles that float upwards to produce a thin cap early and a thick collar later. That collar in turn produces a little bit of spotty lacing.
Nose is grainy with a bit of day old grass clippings for bitterness. A bit of hop spice accents this.
The taste isn’t as “green” as the nose on the bitter side. A light colored whole grain bread lean to a fairly clean opening gives way to a mix of woodsy spice and grass bitterness. Initial sips were more balanced and clean, warmth bringing a bit more bitterness.
A nice, easy drinking beer that is clean with a freshly bitter ending.
