Poured moderately hard from a tall can into a snifter glass, forming less than a finger of tan head that soon faded to heavy lacing. Deep brown/black color. Smell is a bit of malt, but mostly a nice bourbon, not overpowering. Taste is similar to the smell, with a malty background and solid/straightforward bourbon flavor. A little bit boozy, but not overkill, especially given the 12% ABV. Some sweetness at the end. Medium bodied and a bit oily with light carbonation. Solid bourbon aged stout overall.
