No canned on date. Served in a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Briliantly clear honey gold with short-lived 1/2 finger of big-bubbled head with no lacing.

S: Aroma is unique with a lot of lemon and lemongrass herbaceous character with cereal grain.

T: Flavor is also very strong with herbal grassy lemongrass and lemon-lime notes and some slightly nutty cereal grain character. Bitterness is medium. Clean with no esters.

M: A little under carbonated for my tastes with light-medium body and dry finish but not as crisp as it could be with a bit more carbonation.

O: Glad I tried it as it is a unique pilsner, but very rustic and herbal with some nice citrus lemon notes but it needs a bit more crispness in the feel which will heighten the bitterness more and augment the feel and whole drinking experience.

I don't see a date on the can.

Appearance: The body of the beer is a light straw color with medium haze and a lot of visible carbonation. The head is thick and fluffy that churns as bubbles add to and remove from the cobweb of surface lacing. It has medium retention and good lacing.

Aroma: There is a nice, bold, slightly spicy lemon aroma with an herbal character to it.

Taste: Up front there is a sweet cereal grain flavor with a touch of bay leaf and thyme. This moves to the middle where the herbs stay present but there is more of a lime flavor. It finishes clean with a light bit of lemon pith.

Mouthfeel: It is light bodied and easy to drink. Full carbonation and a lightly textured finish.

Overall: It is a nice, flavorful, aromatic Pilsner. It is enjoyable to drink and I would both recommend it and drink it again.
