I do not see a date on the can or the sticker label.
Appearance: The body is a milky dark beige color that is completely opaque. Slight variations in color occur in the shadows where it takes on a bruised-brown color, looking like a two-toned peach. There is very little head formation with no retention or lacing. It does maintain a very thin ring that occasionally will develop a faint string of lacing on the glass.
Aroma: There is a buttered caramel aroma with a touch of spicy bay leaf. That buttery aroma kills any hop scent that tries to come out. Throughout the drinking session of this beer that buttered caramel aroma remained persistent in the front.
Taste: There is a light flavor of peach with a hint of grapefruit squeezed in. It tastes a bit like watered down juice. No aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Bitterness is nonexistent. The body is light and very easy to drink, but also thin and watery. As a whole it is still above average when it comes to pure drinkability. The alcohol presence, "7.1% ABV (as indicated by the label), is notably well hidden.
Overall: The quality of the beer is in the name, "Decent Gas Milage." Aside from the buttery aroma and the lack of head the beer is decent enough. It has some slightly fruity character in the flavor. The highlight of the beer is how well it hides its alcohol and how drinkable it is.
