We get excited about a lot of things but we get truly on fire about lagers, and we are over the top excited about this German-Style Pils. One of our best lagers to date, it features 100% German Pils malt with Hallertauer Mittlefruh as flavor and aroma hops. Fermented with a clean and crisp German lager strain, it’s intensely refreshing, with a nice body and soft maltiness. If you like lagers, and you think Pils is Love/Life, then you won’t be disappointed with this one.

Can to lager glass.
The appearance was a sturdy yellow golden color with a small chill haze to it. A two finger white foamy head started and gently slid into its own. Some messy semi-bubbly lace roamed around my glass.
The aroma had some grassy hop spice, small whiff of white pepper, biscuity yeasty semi-bready character, freshly cleaned laundry and a clean touch floral breezy ease.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a clear sessionability about it. Subtle nuances of breezy floral to grassy hop abrasiveness rides my tongue but mostly feels good. Finishes with some crisp grassy hop spice, floral hops and cracker malts.
Overall, this is a very good well crafted lager that I would be willing to have again with a fair amount Summer type events, however I do question how close this is a true German pilsner.

On draft at Amber Ox
Look: Chill hazed gold with a thick white head
Smell: Noble hops and clean malt
Taste: Lemon zest, floral noble hops, water cracker malt, and a bitter finish.
Taste: Bright and clean. Quite bitter. No alcohol. Refreshing with a dry finish.
Overall: A solid lager all around. Maybe a touch too bitter. Drinks very clean. Enjoyed this one.
