L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a light orange color and an extremely cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A pretty solid aroma of tropical fruit, malt, hops, and citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish; very fleeting), some citrus fruit (orange, more than anything else, but also tangerine), a decent shot of hops (not overdone, though), and some tropical fruit as well (papaya, in particular). A sweet, fruity and likable flavor. It's definitely more subtle than some beers of the style, but also quite complex.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth and creamy finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A well made, easy to like NE IPA. Worth a try.
