Lemon Berry Blunt Cake

Muddled mauve with pulp breaking out from suspense creating a lighter, more fluid top over a chunkier, even seedy bottom, it's not the prettiest slushy.

Overall it kind of comes together like a blackberry smoothie, but with a little more of an acidic sting.

It's definitely thicker than Tart Buds, but separates into some seedy, sedimentary textures,

 

16 ounce can, canning date of 05/16/23. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a reddish/brown color with about an inch pinkish head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like blueberries, lemon, vanilla and some bready malt. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, there's a lot of tartness in this brew and a nice amount of sweetness as well. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good fruited sour ale, definitely worth picking up if you get the chance!

Look: Dark brown-purple, pouring a thin cap head
Smell: Lemon cake, frosting and light fresh blueberries
Taste: Lemon tartness, with fresh blueberry, lactose funk and finishes with lemon cake
Feel: moderate mouthfeel, crisp finish
Overall: Taste just like a blueberry lemon blunt cake
