This brew was pushed on me by my vendor, Saveon. I am a bit disappointed in it since I was sold something more "phenomenal." It was very fresh when I bought it, and it has lingered in fridge for a couple weeks (it's now 4 weeks old). I wasn't in the mood!
It pours the expected fruit smoothie - opaque, with creamy fruit suspension and some chunks in it. It has a nice head and looks freaky in the glass, like a frothy malted shake. The fruitiness dominates the smell. It is very pleasant and fresh. The taste isn't very sour, just a tad. The fruit add up to a very sweet bunch of adjunct, and a lot of it. It relies on fruit to sour and there is little bittering. It has a somewhat thick mouthfeel.
Recommended. This is an interesting brew, and I would be open to others from this brewer. This one is good for when you want a serious brew that is fruity, sweeter than sour, and not too strong. It is not a good value - I won't let Wally push $5.68 fruity brews on me in the future (I've said that before).
