16 ounce can, date stamp on the bottom is smudged and I can't read it. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this can! Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, coffee and some dark chocolate. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some burnt/charred malt and earthy flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and has a lot of soft carbonation. Easy enough to drink. I liked this one, it's a good overall coffee stout and certainly worth trying if you're able to!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid little stout pours a dark
blackish brown with a modest head of khaki foam that settles to a
thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some faint lacing. Nose of
dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, and rich coffee. Flavors hit the
mark with dark roasted goodness, dark coffee, dark cocoa, cola,
moderate char, and a dash of bittering hops. Mouth feel is medium full,
medium effervescent carbonation, smooth, and a bitter coffee and
malt note balanced by subtle bittering hops.
Overall, really enjoyed going to this brewery with Bluejacket and
our friend Laura (rest in peace) and really enjoyed this stout.
A treat to have something from a brewery that is that small
and cranking out solid offerings!
Cheers

ONE PINT can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of mocha head that leaves little lacing.
Big coffee aroma. I get some roasted malt too.
Black coffee. Roasted malt.
Medium bodied with a lighter mouthfeel for a stout
I feel this stout was actually better when it was cold versus room temperature by the time I finished it which is the opposite of the norm for me.
