I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight whilst there with my business colleague. It poured a nearly opaque rich amber with thin off white ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had bold malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with semi sweet caramel malt base with grain presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Chesnutt brown color, opaque. With cream colored head. Aroma is bready and caramel heavy, but also a bit boozy. Similar taste, slightly sweet and with warmth. Medium to full bodied.

Taste: brown sugar, malty, semi sweet, nutty, airy mouthfeel not so grand. Same with the nose. Dark reddish/brown hue, semi clear, tall creamy foamy head with ringed lattice. Medium/full body. Sharp finish. 25 IBUs
