This tart ale had rested on lemon peel then we steeped Whimsy Tea Company’s bold earl grey tea with dried wild bergamot flower in it for a nice dry finish. It’s a bright citrus kick for the animal inside us all.

If you like earl grey tea, this is a really interesting and unique beer. I liked it, but I like earl grey tea. Your mileage may vary. Props for a unique and tasty beer.

The can states "Sour Ale", the website says "Tart Ale". Berliner Weisse was the closest I could associate as it is not brewed with fruit "rested with lemon peel, then we steeped...in tea" so, not fruit and field. There is no mention of brett or lacto, kettle souring, or a fouder...so a guess.
16oz undated can poured into a snifter shows a cloudy orangish-yellow body and after a 1/8" cap of white, thin bubbles disappears the body, and glass, remain clean.
Aromas of bright, sour lemons and tea.
Flavor takes those notes and adds a flowery, yet dull finish. Not too high on the pucker scale, but enough to clean your palate.
Mouthfeel is a little thin, light, but not watery.
Overall a nice tart beverage.
