Kan is courtesy of BeerDrop. (Why do I have to go to a Colorado company to get NY beers?) My first from Woodstock and they are remote in the Catskills: midway between NYC and Albany and still close to not much. But they are brewing now in their 5th year and serving food; presumably mostly to tourists a few months a year. Surviving is good enough. Although their website could say more about Woodstock's motivations and persona.
As for Kan, I bought two copies and will review the second as I am out of practice with the RIS style. But for now, billowing mocha foam, Smells of chocolate, finishes with molasses bittersweet and could have more viscous in my mouth.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
