Kellerpils is our hop-forward, crisp and dry lager brewed with Michigan grown Saaz hops that give off big lemon zest and herb notes. This beer is one of our favorites.

Had on tap. Cloudy yellow body with a white head and sporadic lacing. Lemon, grassy hops, cracker malt and garden herbs in nose. Taste adds grainy bread to the same set up in a supportive way. Feel is crisp, clean for style, has shaping from hop and yeast especially, very bright overall.

Enjoyed a pint at the Woodfin brewery 1-6-23 for $6.00.
Beer poured clear golden with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is crackers and bread with an herbal hop quality.
Taste is near perfection. Light bodied malt base takes on the Saaz hop addition that lends a kiss of lemon and provides a nice balancing finish that is a touch hoppy.
Mouthfeel is crisp, clean and refreshing.
Overall totally dug this pilsner, so fresh and alive!

This beer is excellent. Smell of toast, oak, earth, subtle lemon. Taste follows suit with the earthy notes taking center stage and the others underlining it nicely. Feel is sharp and I feel this beer was slightly over carbed, obviously varying with batches. Very good beer. Would drink again.

16oz can purchased at the brewery CANNED ON 04/27/21 poured into stemless wine glass at fridge temp 4.9% ABV. The beer pours slightly hazy, highly effervescent in a light amber color. The head is off white in color and settles to a thick cap. The aroma is mild with notes of sweet grain, bread and yeast. The taste is semisweet bready malt with notes of noble hops. Slight mineral notes and moderate bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Very clean lagering. Overall, very good. I wish they would have had it on tap at the brewery, as the other lagers I sampled there were delicious.

Seriously good beer. Hoppy & yet the hops do not overwhelm the beer. The only low mark is there is a bit of chill haze in the beer.

Poured from a very cool almost red stripe 12oz bottle into a pint glass. No date I could find, believe it was released about five days ago
L: totally clear straw gold (at first) with a very thick white head. Unfiltered, cloudy sediment comes through on the second/final pour to make it a murky straw gold with some floaties. Light lacing
S: nice, crisp, rich pilsner nose. Get cracker, dough, fresh bread, hay, slight corn sweetness. Slight floral/herbal aroma
T: follows the nose, delicious and refreshing pils for sure. That cracker/dough/bread note leads, really great malt flavor. Nice noble hop bitterness in the middle and into the medium finish. A nice, full flavor at first that slowly moves to a crisp, bitter, refreshing finish
F: medium body, medium carbonation, slightly drying
O: delicious, full flavored pils that still delivers a refreshing and easy to drink profile. Bready to bitter, a great beer (cool packaging doesn't hurt)

Appearance: Arrives hazy and a light straw color with an impressive white head; copious lacing
Smell: Bready with grassy hop tones
Taste: Bread forward with growing grassy bitterness; a touch grainy with a crisp lager finish
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with crisp carbonation
Overall: A great pilsner, showing that its not all about the hazy IPAs these days

this beer is beyond compare, straight up divine, all lager should be this good. i love all the beers we had here, all of them were objectively excellent, but this one is next level, transcendent even, and a great reminder that great beer is everywhere, and that sometimes its the simple ones that satisfy the most. this is world class unfiltered pilsener, hazy very pale yellow and with a rising tall white head from the tap. it smells like very fresh european pils malt and very well attenuated lager yeast, dry and biscuity and sort of like pancake batter in a good way, light noble hops in the background, everything it should have, nothing it shouldnt, which is also true in the flavor. there is a wonderful breadiness to this, somehow both insanely delicate and drinkable, but also a little richer and more substantial than a lot of them ever are, just tons of awesome grain character in here without it being too much. the yeast cleans it right up and has a ver european vibe as well. maybe saaz or hallertau hops, wet grass and lime leaves to me, delicate in the balance and adding some necessary bitterness in the finish. perfect proportionality, like a sculpture or something. perfectly dry and with lively carbonation, i could drink this by the home depot bucket full if they would serve me that much at a time. perhaps the best lager i have had so far this year, elite level execution here! wow its good.
