I usually slam adjunct lager ingredients like rice and corn, but this beer (brewed with corn) is good!!!! Lots going on in a light lager!!!! Poured a very light yellow hazy color with a huge foamy white head. Good head retention and patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma and flavor are surprisingly good for a light lager. There is some fruitiness (lemon and a little pear) and some yeast presence. the bitterness level is very mild but there are some grassy hops as well as the citrus. Mouthfeel is crisp and light. Interesting enough because of the decent flavors. A good session beer because of the light .abv, and more than a "lawnmower beer" because of the flavor. I had it with salsa and chips and it went down very well!!!

Pours a lightly hazy pale straw. I definitely can't see through it. Lemon and lemongrass on the nose, not as perfumey as heather, but definitely a floral herbal aroma. I don't think I've tasted a light lager like this. It's citrusy in like almost a sugarless orange kind of way. It's dry. There's more of that lemongrass herbal character in there too. I think traditionally light lagers have been kind of those beers you throw back and this sure as heck could be one of those, but it can also be one you sit and contemplate over and appreciate the layers that went into it. I'm not sure the flavor is my favorite, but it's definitely more interesting than your average light lager. It's still light and refreshing too, which gains points in the feel department.
