From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This mighty fine brew pours
a lightly cloudy wheat hazed purple with a nice head of purple/pink foam
that settle to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows nice lacing. Nose of
blackberries and soft wheat with sweet honey malts....thin of the nose of
a sweet tart candy. Flavors surpass the nose by presentation alone----
blackberries and soft wheat notes...big and juicy blackberries that do not
taste overdone or fake with balanced honey malts. Nice mouth feel; medium
light body, smooth, refreshing, medium carbonation that is moderately
fluffy, and a dry and moderately tart (SweetTarts!) finish.
Would I want a lot of this---no----but it is a great starter or a finisher
when you want something to cleanse the palate.
This brewery keeps surprising me, a great spot with good food which
we tried for the first time. Excellent brews and excellent service!
Cheers
