DIPA DDH with Citra and Citra Cryo
Essentially a “Double” Rings of Light with loads of oats and Citra in as many forms as we could cram in! We used fresh pellets and Cryo to saturate this one with as much of Citra’s delicious orange, grapefruit, melon and darkness as we could!

16 ounce can poured into a Tulip.
Canned 12/20/22
The hazy pale yellow pour is capped with two fingers of white very persistent foam which leaves lace.
Big juicy Citra nose, grapefruit and pineapple. Flavor is the same, hoppy pineapple, stone fruit and grapefruit, medium sweet with moderate bitterness, malt flavor is flour-like. Some alcohol flavor. Body is medium-full. Soft and creamy feel, no tongue prickle, finishes with some warmth.
Really nice hazy double. Very fresh cans of this must be fantastic.

From tasting notes 01/24/19
Had on-tap at Sapwood Cellars in Columbus, MD
Appearance - Served up in a 14oz stemless, hazy and orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds on top. Brilliant lacing, with velvety looking sheeting covering much of the glass.
Smell - Orange, tangerine, hint of stonefruit and some dank.
Taste - Follows the nose. Citrus notes hit with orange and tangerine before a bit of peach sneaks in. Mid-taste brings some piney dank along with a bit of orange pith bitterness. The finish is mostly bitter, as the pith becomes the prominent flavor, and it lingers in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - On the fuller side of medium-bodied with low-to-moderate carbonation. Fluffy, near creamy texture before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Really good beer, but I'm not surprised that I'm not head over heels for it considering it was dry hopped with citra. I can understand why others might be.
