Rye Pale Ale DDH with Mosaic Cryo and Hallertau Blanc.
We opened September 2018 with a beer called False Dragon. It was an imitator of the true Dragon Reborn. This is a stronger beer, with a small amount of flaked rye for an even creamier body. We dry hopped with the same combination of Hallertau Blanc and Mosaic, but this time used Cryo Mosaic for an even punchier dank-winey aroma. This beer is fermented with a strain we're using for the first time, pushing stonefruit aromatics.

Pours up orange yellow, head is decent, but fades, lacing is weak.
Flavor is good, but more like an IPA than a Pale Ale, IMO. Creamy, flavorful, Enjoyable.

Draft pour at the brewery..
L: Mostly opaque hazy orange-yellow pour, small white head slowly fades to a collar,
S: Stone fruit forward, some white grape and catty notes,
T: Hoppy stone fruit flavors, peach and to lesser extent mango, light rye coming through but only a touch spicy, nice bitter to sweet balance, mango flavor strengthens as I go.
F: Medium-full body, very soft and creamy, some prickle from the carb up front but otherwise smooth
O: Very good, on the rich side but still fairly easy drinking.

Melon, white wine, and a hint of peaches with cream. Very smooth mouthfeel with no spiciness from the rye.
