Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned March 3rd 2022 I smell a sitcom.
Slightly muddied and opaque with just a hint of turbid body looking appearances, a dull lemon that nearly gets brown. Classic simple three finger thick and rich foamy head, full of big retention and clumps. Head hangs on for a good amount of time, just like a good IPA should. That body color though is unfortunately not that appealing.
Aroma is a good hop breeze. Touches real nice notes of hop accents, sweet mint, citrus to tropical fruity light touches, oily zest as well. There's even light touches of spicy herbal grass as well. There's a real nice mix of hop aromas going on here, all noticeable with a lot to explore.
The palate then amplifies and accents the aromas real nicely. Slightly juiced up body, with just a bit more girth and gusto than your average IPA. Citrus and oily bonanza on first sip, with a mix of orange, lime, lemon and lots of grapefruit like oils but with a more exotic sweetness hinting beneath. There's a real nice mixture of herbal and minty spice like touches too, the finish is extremely tangy with mint like oil and sweetness that drips wonderfully. Spicy and lingering finish that give a lot of green herb sensations.
Real nice IPA.
