Barrel-Aged Meyer Lemon Sour
This beer is a showcase for the bright aroma of Meyer Lemons. They have a softer flavor than the common Lisbon and Eureka lemons, with a more varied orange-influenced aroma. We selected two third-use barrels with restrained acidity to avoid distracting oakiness or sharpness. The result is a sour beer that begs not to be shared… enjoy a whole bottle by yourself!

5 oz wine glass pour at the brewery. Pours a clear effervescent straw yellow with a fine head and tiny bubbles. Aroma and flavor feature Meyer lemon (yes, there is a noticeable difference from regular lemons), moderate-to-strong acidity, oak tannins, barnyard funk, and leather. Mouthfeel is dry and well-carbonated. Overall it's a fantastic oak barrel-aged sour with a bright fruit presence that interplays beautifully with the base beer.
