IPA DDH with BRU-1, Citra, and Simcoe
We pulled three of our favorite hops out of a hat for this hazy IPA! Everyone knows Citra and Simcoe, but what about BRU-1? It's a relatively new variety that we previously used with great success in Mad Fermentations Vol. 20. It brings bright citrus and pineapple aromatics that provide a little magic with two of our favorite varieties!

16 ounce can poured into a Spiegelau wheat beer glass.
This batch is 6.8% ABV.
L: Hazy pale yellow pour, one inch head is dense white and fluffy, foam is fairly persistent and leaves some slick lace.
S: Juicy pineapple, stone fruit and citrus aromas.
T: Less juicy than the nose but sweet enough to balance the bitterness, grapefruit pith, mango and tropical fruit flavor, some pale malt bread flour flavor lies underneath.
F: Very crisp at first but smooths out considerably as the carbonation quickly dissipates, the resulting soft medium body approaches creamy and has a bit of hop prickle.
O: Very good NEIPA, though the feel is slightly off.

Zero bitterness, super soft mouthfeel, very rich for 7.6% ABV. Very fruit forward in flavor. No carbonation noted. Really like the yeast strain and malts used here. Very tasty.
