Citra Pale Ale.
Rings of Light was our first and one of our favorite hoppy beers. We use every trick in our brewing arsenal to saturate it with tropical, citrusy, and melony Citra hop aromatics. But what if we could make those tropical notes even more “out of this world”? Bolstered with a yeast strain that lays down a ripe passionfruit-like backdrop and augmented with a higher hopping rate, we’re ready to take Rings into the stratosphere!

16 ounce can poured into a Willi Becher.
Canned 1/11/23
Three fingers of bone-white meringue-like foam cap a hazy, pale orangish-yellow pour. The head persists and leaves clumpy rings of lace.
Big citrus nose with orange peel, I got more of a tropical aroma from the draft version. Either way the aroma is strong and a touch juicy. Hop forward taste, citrus zest, a bit of tropical fruit sweetness with moderate bitterness. The finish has a zesty punch. Mouthfeel is medium with a smooth feel and a touch of prickle on the back of the tongue.
Decent APA. An easy drinking compromise between a hazy heavier, and a lighter APA.
