Draft pour into a stemless wine glass at the brewery.
Hazy and opaque yellow-orange pour with a one finger white head. Foam has medium retention and leaves decent amounts of lace.
The nose is moderate in strength and persists until the glass is empty. Hop forward, a little bit juicy with pineapple and grapefruit-like aromas and some minor cattiness. Tasting hoppy as well but near balanced with the malt. Tropical and citrus like hops along side of oats and flour malt. Not at all juicy and the fruit notes are subtle coming across more as hops with vague fruit likenesses. The medium-weight body is overall smooth and a little creamy but has a small opening bite. A small prickly finish developed halfway through the glass.
Rather well done and a little better than the sum of it's parts. A good hazy APA that has a nice viscosity and hints at fruit without being too sweet or juicy.
